PG Medical Admissions in Tripura: Round 2 Registration Process Begins, 34 Seats Available

The registration process for NEET PG counseling round 2 has begun. The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) published the detailed schedule along with the number of seats available.

Important guidelines –

1. Once allotted a seat in Round 2, a candidate's previous admitted seat in Round 1 shall automatically get canceled (upgradation).

2. Candidate cannot surrender Round-2 allotted admitted seat.

3. Candidates can move to the MOP UP Round forfeiting the Security deposit only once they are allotted a Round-2 seat.

4. The candidates admitted to a Round 1 seat must have to surrender within the scheduled date if they intend to surrender their admitted seat in Round 1 within 48 hours of publication of the result of Round 2.

5. Counselling ends for candidates once they get admitted to the Round-2 allotted seat.

6. Fresh Registration Fees will be applicable for fresh candidates of Round 2 and shall have to be deposited through Online mode.

7. "Mandatory Security Deposit" for participation in Round -2 is mandatory for all.

8. Candidates already registered in Round 1 shall have to Log in only by uploading documents of submission of Security Deposit in their Profile of Counselling Link.

9. Fresh Candidates with Registration Fees and Security Deposit shall have to upload all relevant Documents accordingly.

10. The Counselling Link of Round 2 remains the same as in Round-l(dmeonline.tripura.gov.in).

11. The Seat Matrix shows the vacant seats only. If upgraded, an admitted seat of a candidate of Round 1 shall automatically be vacant and may be allotted to a new intending eligible candidate the Round 2.

12. Security Deposit shall have to be deposited through a Bank Draft of any National Bank, preferably State Bank of India, payable to the Director of Medical Education, Govt. of Tripura, Agartala. In addition, the scanned copy of the same draft shall have to be uploaded by a candidate intending to participate in Round 2.

13. No candidates will be registered for the allotment of the seat if they fail to upload t scanned copy of the Bank Draft along with the online application.

14. Intending eligible candidates who want to resign from any admitted/allotted seat are advised to ensure that the allotted College issues their relieving letter for relieving the candidates from their allotted seats after receiving the resignation letter from the candidate. Any resignation letter by a candidate shall not be accepted unless and otherwise endorsed/certified by the admitting Institution of that candidate willing resignation from any seat.

15. Intending eligible Candidates who want to resign from any admitted/allotted seat are advised to ensure that their relieving letter is issued by the allotted College for relieving the candidates from their allotted seats after receiving the resignation letter from candidate.

16. Any resignation letter by a candidate shall not be accepted unless and otherwise endorsed/certified by the admitting Institution of that candidate willing resignation from any seat.

17. In case the candidates apply for the up gradation and participate in Round-2Counsellingg for an upgraded seat but are not upgraded and now want to resign their Round-1 admitted seat, in that e, vent they will have to resign from that Round-1 seat and get a releasing letter from the admitted institute within 48 hours of Round-2 result publication.

18. In case the candidates get an upgraded seat or a fresh seat in Round 2 but do not want to retain the seat or do not want to be admitted to that seat, they will have to resign from the allotted seat within 48 hours of result publication of Round-2. In this case, the security deposit for Round 2 participation will be forfeited, and the candidate can participate in the MOP UP Round subject to available seats.

19. Once the candidates are admitted to a Round-2 allotted seat, their counseling ends at that point, and they cannot resign from the seat even if they forfeit their security deposit. However, suppose they still want to discontinue the course against the admitted seat in round 2. In that case, the penalty as per the Discontinuation bond executed by the candidate shall on apply h has to be borne by the candidate to the admitting College authority or the Govt. of Tripura.

20. A candidate cannot hold (get admitted to) 2 seats in two different States or AIQ Counsellings at any time.

21. To get eligibility for the State Quota domicile seat, a candidate must have stated/submitted the State of Tripura in their Permanent Address in their application for the NEET UG 2022 exam mandatory pre-requisite to be eligible to participate in the counseling the State Quota seats along with other documents of domicile & eligibility which is needed to be reaffirmed accordingly.

22. After the publication of the provisional allotment result, the allotted candidate will have to report to the office of the Directorate of Medical Education, Bidurkarta Chowmohany, to receive a nomination letter on the scheduled date of reporting with photocopies of all original documents along with 04(four) passport size photos. Necessary bond formalities will have to be executed by the candidate before getting the nomination letter.

23. In the Tripura State NEET UG 2022 online Counselling, the information regarding domicile given by a candidate during registration of Round 1 will be carried forward up to the 'choice filling' event only. Online Scrutiny/screening of information documents will be done before allotment. Candidates who submitted their permanent residence as Tripura in the application for the NEET 2022 Exam will be taken up only for further review and reaffirmation of eligibility.

24. Physical verification of all original documents of an allotted nominated candidate will be done before Admission to the allotted Institution and following successful verification of physical documents.

25. No AIQ seats will be reverted to the state after completing AIQ Round 2 for Tripura State NEET UG 2022 Counselling and Tripura State NEET PG Counselling.

The following security deposit has to pay for round 2 -

1. Candidates willing to take part in PG seats at AGMC and Diploma seats at IGM Hospital, Agartala, shall have to deposit Rs.25,000/- for General(and OBC) candidates and Rs.12,500/- for SC and ST candidates.

2. Candidates with eligibility willing to participate for any seats at TMC shall have to deposit Rs.2.00 Lakhs irrespective of category.

3. Candidates with eligibility willing to take part in both types of seats at AGMC and IGM Hospital, Agartala, and at TMC, shall have to deposit Rs.2.00 Lakhs irrespective of category.
