PG Medical Counselling To Be Conducted Tomorrow, CENTAC Issues Guidelines
Puducherry: Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) released the schedule and guidelines for PG Medical (MD/MS) Mop-up counselling. The list of candidates who have submitted their willingness has also been released.
Mop-up counselling for Government Quota seats and Management Quota seats is scheduled for 25.11.2022. Candidates who deposit the full fee money (fee structure published on the website) in advance only can participate.

Link for Mop-up counselling will be sent to the registered E-mail ID (check in SPAM folder if not available in Inbox) of the candidates who have deposited full fee money. In case of difficulty, if any, in participating through web conferencing due to connectivity issues, the candidates will be allowed to call on the phone numbers 9566688077 / 9042412110 and choose the seats.
Mop-up counselling will be done in hybrid mode - Online and Offline (Physical) modes. Candidates can choose either Offline or Online mode. Candidates willing to participate in offline (Physical) mode can report to the office of CENTAC, PTU campus. Candidates will be called in the order of merit.
Candidates who opt for Online participation should join before their scheduled time and wait for their turn. In case of network connectivity issues, the candidates must call and confirm their participation half an hour before their scheduled time.
As per NMC guidelines, Sliding will not be allowed. Candidates who joined up to the 2nd round through AIQ/State Counselling are not allowed to participate in Mop up counselling as per the NMC Guidelines.
Mop-up counselling will be done in sessions. In the first session, Reservations will be allowed for Govt. Quota seats. After that, unfilled reserved seats will be converted into unreserved seats per the Health Department's directions and offered as per merit.
CENTAC has further announced that the updated list of candidates who have joined up to 2nd round of counselling for PG-Medical seats has been published. The details of filled seats and vacant seats are published on the website. A revised seat matrix issued by the Health Department is also published. Due to the lowering cut-off, new applications are invited, and the merit list is also published.
Candidates who have paid the tuition fee and mop-up counselling fee will be considered for drawing the Mop-up Participating Candidates List, and the same will be published on 23.11.2022 on the CENTAC website. Candidates who have not uploaded the proof of payment will not be considered.
Candidates should verify the list of joined candidates. If the name of a candidate who has joined in 2nd round paid the fee, but their name is not found in the admitted list, then the candidate is advised to send details before 5:00 pm on 24.11.2022 to centacprof@gmail.com.
The candidates note that during mop-up counselling, seats will be allotted only after confirmation of payment of the entire tuition fee. In case of NEFT/RTGS transfer amount credited will be refunded if the seat is not allotted. In the case of DD, the same will be returned. Students are advised to see the fee order on the website for the fee amount.
In case the payment is made through DEMAND DRAFT, the ORIGINAL DD should be submitted before the counselling, irrespective of the participating mode (online/physical) at the CENTAC OFFICE, PTU CAMPUS, PUDUCHERRY.
If the student fails to join the allotted college after Mop-up counselling, then there will be forfeiture of the fee paid. If the college cannot fill the seat from the 1:10 list sponsored by CENTAC, then the entire tuition fee will be forfeited. Where the college can fill the seat, the fee paid after deducting Rs.200000 will be refunded after 6 months.
The candidates should join on or before 25.11.2022 @ 5.00 pm. The Colleges will be asked to set up admission counters in CENTAC OFFICE to facilitate the admission of the allotted candidates. The mode of reporting can be physical or online.

3. Proof of fee paid (RTGS/NEFT reference or DD)
