PGIMER Announces Counselling Date For PhD admissions July 2022 Session, details

Chandigarh: The counselling for admission to PhD course for July 2022 session is scheduled for 6th July 2022 at 11:00 am, announced Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER).

As per the notice, the venue for the schedule is Lecture Theatre-1, Nehru Hospital, PGIMER, Chandigarh. A list of the provisional qualified candidates on the basis of merit in the entrance exam will be displayed on the website shortly.

The entrance exam was held on 3rd June 2022. A total of 122 seats are there for PhD July 2022 sessions at PGIMER.

The institute offers a three-year full-time PhD program, and the admission is based on an entrance exam conducted by the institute itself, followed by a personal interview. Admission to PhD courses is made twice a year (January and July). The mode of examination is Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted online. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are there in the exam.

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh and was conceived in 1960 as a center of excellence.
