Special stray vacancy round: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences Invites Online Applications For DNB Courses, details

Andhra Pradesh: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has invited online applications for admissions into DNB Post MBBS (3 years) Degree/Post MBBS Diploma (2 years)/Post Diploma DNB (2 years) Seats in Government Hospitals of Andhra Pradesh for In-Service candidates under Competent Authority Quota seats for special stray vacancy round for the academic year 2023-2024. The seat matrix for the same has also been released.

The candidates can apply till 5.00 PM on 19-11-2023. The application form is available on the website mentioned in the notice below. Online application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo, signature, and incomplete information will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using NEET-PG-2023 Rank.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), O/o DGHS, Govt. of India, New Delhi, vide Notice No.U-12021/02/2023-MEC, Dated 14-11-2023 notified the Special Stray Vacancy Round Schedule - 2023 for admissions into DNB Courses for the academic year 2023-24 duly extending the last date of admission as 30th November 2023. The MCC further directed the State Counselling authorities to conduct the seat processing for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of states after weeding out of candidates ALLOTTED in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of MCC, New Delhi.

In view of the above, Dr YSR UHS invites online applications afresh along with uploading scanned original certificates from eligible candidates for admission into vacant seats.

The Merit List under Competent Authority Quota of In-service Candidates for DNB placed on the University Website on 22-10-2023, notified by Dr. YSRUHS, is treated as Null and Void, and only fresh registrations will be considered for this Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling. The same application will be considered for all the Special Stray Vacancy counseling rounds, if any.

Candidates must join the seat allotted in this special stray round if the seat is allotted, failing which candidates shall be debarred for one academic year, i.e., 2024-25, for admissions into Medical Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

All the Vacant seats for this Special Stray round are “Unreserved Open General seats”.

Registration, uploading Scanned Original certificates, and exercising web options will be permitted only once, irrespective of the Number of counsellings.

If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect or false or found fake and enclosed forged certificates/documents during the admission process or later, then the University will take action that it deems fit as per rules against the candidate, including cancellation of the seat, in case already admitted, without any notice. The University will take further action against such a candidate.

Eligibility –

In-service Candidates who are not allotted/holding any PG(Medical) / DNB seat are eligible to participate in this special stray round.

Non-eligibility –

1. In-service Candidates who have been allotted any PG (Medical) / DNB seat in any Phase conducted by Dr. YSRUHS for Competent Authority Quota (CQ) are not eligible to participate in this special stray vacancy round.

2. In-service Candidates who joined/hold any PG (Medical) / DNB seat are not eligible for this special stray vacancy round.

Seats vacant –

45 seats are vacant for admissions into DNB Post MBBS (3 years) Degree/Post MBBS Diploma (2 years)/Post Diploma DNB (2 years) Seats.
