TN Health Issues Clarification for OCI, PIO Candidates seeking PG medical, dental admissions under Management Quota
Tamil Nadu: Through a recent notice, TN Health has issued issues clarification related to OCI and PIO candidates for Post Graduate Degree/Diploma and MDS Courses in Management Quota in Self-financing Medical and Dental Colleges for the 2022-23 session.
As per the notice, clause 2 (a) in the Prospectus for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Courses in Management Quota in Self-financing Medical colleges for the 2022-23 session is to be read as a separate clause as "Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OC.) will be considered only for the NRI seats as per Gazette of India, Dated 04.03.2021. They will not be eligible for any kind of reservation."
Recently TN Health has extended the last submission date of online application for Post Graduate Degree/Diploma and MDS Courses in Management Quota in Self-financing Medical colleges for the 2022-23 session.
The candidates can apply online till 29th August 2022 up to 5:00 pm. The last date of receipt of the filled-in online application (hard copies) has been extended to 30th August 2022 up to 5.00 pm. Three more days of extension have been granted to the candidates for online application, and one more day of extension has been given for submission of hard copies. The previous date of online application was 26th August 2022. The last date for receipt of the filled-in online application (hard copies) was 29th August 2022.
Candidates seeking admission must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-NEET PG 2022conducted by the National Board of Examination. They should be citizens of India. And those who have cleared their MBBS Examination and completed/completed the CRRI period on or before 31st May 2022 are only eligible to apply.
Candidates should possess an MBBS Degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R Medical University or any other University recognized by the Medical Council of India. Those who complete their Diploma courses before 31st March 2022 are eligible to apply for Post Graduate Degree Courses in the same academic year of 2022-2023.
