UP DGME commences Round 1 NEET 2025 counselling registrations, check complete details

Uttar Pradesh- The Uttar Pradesh Director General, Medical Education & Training (UPDGME) has commenced the UP National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 1st round counselling registration and deposition of registration fee and security deposit process for the academic year 2025
As per the notification issued by the UPDGME in this regard, the registration and deposition of registration fee and security deposit process for the 1st round of online counselling for admission of state quota seats of UG course, i.e. MBBS and BDS in Government, Private Medical and Dental Colleges and Universities of Uttar Pradesh is commenced from today i.e. 18th July 2025, 02:00 PM till 28th July 2025, 2:00 PM.

Along with this, through a notification, UPDGME has issued important instructions for the candidates participating in the first round of online counselling of UP NEET UG 2025. Below are the instructions-
INSTRUCTIONS
1 Only the candidates declared successful in the NEET UG-2025 entrance examination are eligible to participate in the counselling of UP NEET UG-2025.
2 All eligible candidates participating in the counselling of UP NEET UG-2025 will have to register by logging on to the departmental official website.
3 For registration, candidates should complete the registration process using their own mobile number and e-mail because any kind of information will be exchanged only on the mobile number and e-mail provided at the time of registration.
4 To participate in online counselling, it will be mandatory for the candidate to deposit the registration fee of Rs. 2,000/- through online mode. The registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, i.e. it will be non-refundable.
5 Candidates eligible for NEET UG-2025 will have to select one of the nodal centres for online verification of documents at the time of registration. The list of nodal centres for verification of documents is given in the Government Order and the brochure regarding policy formulation of UP NEET UG 2025.
6. For online verification of documents, the following documents will be uploaded by the candidate-
1High School Marksheet / Certificate.
2 Intermediate Marksheet.
3 Reservation related certificate (OBC, SC, ST, EWS, & EX. Army, NCC, FF, PWD) (if applicable).
4 Domicile Certificate (if applicable).
7 Candidates will have to deposit the security amount as per the table given below through the online process. Candidates who do not deposit the security amount will not be eligible for choice filling.

8 Candidates who wish to participate in counselling for both Government and Private (Medical & Dental) sector seats will have to deposit a security amount of Rs. 2,00,000/-.
9 Candidates who wish to participate in counselling for seats in both Government and Private Sector Dental Colleges will have to deposit a security amount of Rs. 1,00,000/-.
10 The security amount will not be adjusted in the tuition fee under any circumstances.
11 Candidates participating in counselling are specially advised to use their own bank account while depositing the security money, because after the counselling of the entire cycle is over, the security money of the unallocated and admitted candidates will be refunded as per rules in the same bank account from which the security money has been paid.
12 Candidates allotted/admitted through the first round of counselling in Government and private sector medical colleges/dental colleges will have the facility of free exit, i.e. if a candidate does not take admission after being allotted through the first round of counselling, his/her security deposit amount will be refunded.
13 A candidate who has the facility of free exit from the counselling of the first round can again participate in the counselling of the second or third round.
14 All the certificates related to reservation (OBC, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Economically Weaker Section) will be valid only if issued by the competent authority of Uttar Pradesh on the format prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
15 Reservation certificates of Other Backwards Classes and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of Uttar Pradesh will be valid only from April 01, 2025 or thereafter.
16 Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category are advised to get the reservation certificate issued by the UP Government in the latest format, so that the certificate. So that online verification can be done easily.
17 On the form of certificate to be submitted for appointment to posts under the Government of India Reservation certificate will not be valid.
18 Candidates from reserved categories from states other than Uttar Pradesh will be considered unreserved. Such candidates will not be allowed the benefit of reservation.
19 For the benefit of reservation related to sub-category under UP NEET UG-2025, only the certificates issued as per the following points will be valid-
i Only the disability certificates issued by DGHS, MoHFW, New Delhi, from the centres designated by the Divyangjans will be valid.
ii Reservation-related certificates for the dependents of freedom fighters will be valid only if issued by the competent authority of Uttar Pradesh on the format prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh government. The format of the certificate for the dependents of freedom fighters is given in the brochure of UP NEET UG 2025.
iii NCC Certificate (at least "C" Certificate with "B" grading) issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format will be valid only.
iv For the son/daughter of ex-servicemen (disabled in war/retired/martyred), only the certificate issued by the competent authority on the prescribed format will be valid. The format of the said certificate is given in the brochure of UP NEET UGC 2025.
20 Candidates seeking admission in private medical/dental colleges are advised to gather all the information about the concerned college on their own before counselling/choice failure, to avoid any confusion after allotment.
21 The candidate should fill in the choice for admission to the seats of Government/Private Sector Medical/Dental Colleges based on his/her priority. The candidate should fill in the choice of only those colleges in which he/she is interested in taking admission.
22 After online choice filling, it is mandatory to lock the choices. In case the choices are not locked, the candidate will be automatically excluded from the allotment process.
23 After choice filling and locking of choice, under no circumstances will any amendment/change in the locked choice be permitted, nor will the Directorate General consider any application received in this regard.
24 The admission process of candidates allotted to Government Medical / Dental Colleges will be completed in the allotted college.
25 The admission process of candidates allotted to private sector medical/dental colleges will be conducted at the nodal centres nominated by the government. The list of nodal centres is given in the brochure of UP NEET UG 2025.
26 Candidates allotted to private sector medical/dental colleges will be required to deposit the tuition fee determined by the Government/minority institution by means of a CTS bank draft drawn in favour of "Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P. Payable at Lucknow" at the designated nodal center at the time of admission, otherwise the admission will be automatically cancelled.
