Faridkot: Through a recent notice, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has invited fresh applications for vacant seats of MBBS /BDS course under NEET UG-2021 (Mop Up Round).

Fresh Online applications along with registration fee @ Rs. 5000/-(2500/- for SC candidates) +18% GST are invited through university website from NEET UG-2021 Qualified Candidates w.e.f. 17.03.2022 to 22.03.2022 (till 05:00 PM) for admission to vacant seats of MBBS/BDS courses.

For fresh registration, the last date for depositing fee of Rs. 5000/- (Rs. 2500/- for SC candidates) + GST @ 18% through Online payment gateway. Candidature of candidates who will not deposit the registration fee upto stipulated date and time will not be considered

Last date for correction of data filled in online application form. Thereafter, the application will be locked automatically and no change can be made.

Last date of submission of willingness alongwith deposition of security amount for MopUp Round of counseling by the candidates(already registered/fresh registered-as per eligibility)

The candidates who will apply under Sikh/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective Minority Institute for verification for eligibility of Minority at the following venue:

a. Sikh Minority- At SGRD Institute of Medical/Dental Sciences & Research, Amritsar

b. Christian Minority- At Christian Medical/Dental College, Ludhiana

Date of reporting/joining in the provisionally allotted college. The provisionally selected candidates will have to pay the balance six months fee through online payment gateway after adjusting the security amount

Eligibility for MopUp Round of Counseling

  • The candidates who need to apply afresh for MopUp Round of counseling (These candidates have to pay registration fee and security amount at the time of submission of willingness as per rules)

a. The candidates who are registering for the first time.

b. The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1st online Counseling with free exit upto 28.02.2022 and do not hold any seat of Round I and Round-II.

c. The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat (fresh/upgraded) of Round-II counseling and exit with forfeiture of fee upto 14.03.2022 can apply afresh for MopUp Round.

  • The candidates who need not to apply afresh for Mop Up Round of counseling (These candidates have to submit willingness only)

a. The candidates who are already registered but have not been allotted any seat in Round I and II.

  • The candidates who are not eligible for MopUp Round of counseling

a. The candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seat of Round I and Round II.

  • Fee to be deposited for MopUp Round:

a. For registration the candidate has to deposit fee @Rs. 5000/- (2500/- for SC) + 18% GST for applying application Form through online payment gateway of University.

Note: Already registered candidates who are eligible for Mop up round and have already paid the security amount as per their preference need not pay again.

Eligibility for Stray Vacancy Round of Counseling

  • The candidates who are eligible for Stray Vacancy round of counseling

a. All registered candidates except the candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seat of Round I & Round II and allotted a seat in MopUp Round.

  • The candidates who are not eligible for Stray Vacancy round of counseling

a. The candidates who have been allotted a seat in MopUp Round.

b. The candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seats of Round I/Round II/MopUp Round.
