West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) extended the date of candidate data initialization and registration in the mop-up of a round of PG Medical/Dental counselling 2022. West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) extended the date of candidate data initialization and registration in the mop-up of a round of PG Medical/Dental counselling 2022.

Initialization in the mop-up round has been extended from 12 noon to 4 pm, and candidate registration from Noon to midnight of 10th November 2022 in PG Medical/Dental Counseling 2022 as per server time. Rejection followed by initialization request of candidate application data by verifying centres, if any, followed by initialization by the system can be done between 4-5 pm on 10th November 2022, allowing such candidates to re-login and put up a new application and fee payment.

The candidates should generate an acknowledgement slip and come to the verification centre (as per the new acknowledgement slip) on 11th November 2022 between 11 am to 4 pm for positive verification as per server time. Any candidate registered on 10th November 2022 shall also have to come to the verification centre positively on 11th November 2022 between 11 am to 4 pm for verification as per server time. Candidates note that such a facility is available only for non-verified candidates.

Further, WBMCC has notified candidates who had gone to the verification centre on 9th November 2022 and requested nodal officials to reject them, followed by initialization request of candidate data in WB MCC server such candidate can apply afresh with previous login credentials and pay counselling fee afresh and generate new acknowledgement slip. With this new slip, such candidates now have to verify on 10th November 2022 or 11th November 2022 as per the server time mentioned in an earlier notice on the counselling website.

The following candidates were allowed to participate in the mop-up round -

1. The candidates who remain not allotted till Round 2 are allowed to participate in mop-up straight away by fresh choice filling; they do not need to pay the counselling fee again.

2. Already successfully verified candidates in Round 1 and Round 2 who failed to provide a choice during the earlier rounds are allowed to participate in mop-up; they do not need not pay the counselling fee again.

3. The candidates whose allotted seats were cancelled in round 2 due to inadequate documentation but remain eligible for a subsequent round with changed candidature are allowed in mop-up counselling straight away for choice filling and locking after successful verification.

4. The candidates who remain not reported during round 2 counselling are allowed to participate in mop-up counselling, but with a penalty, i.e. they have to make a new fee payment.
