WBMCC Informs on NEET PG, MDS College Level Stray Vacancy Round, Details
West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) informed about PG Medical and Dental college level stray vacancy round.
Per the notice, all non-allotted and non-reported candidates in PG Medical and Dental mop-up 2022 who are presently registered in the system can participate in this round if otherwise eligible. The willing and eligible candidates may attend any one single college of their choice personally and physically with all relevant original documents as required, along with one set self-attested photocopy and requisite college fee within the reporting time.
The reporting time is from 10 am to 12 noon on 2-12-2022 at a particular college chosen by the eligible candidate. The college authorities must keep attendance as per the rank of the eligible reported candidate with original documents and fees. The allotment cum admission shall start from noon and continue till 4 pm as per server time on 2-12-2022, after which any seat conversion if required due to the non-availability of the eligible, willing candidate, shall take place till 6 pm as per server time.
The seat conversion shall be allowed from ST to SC and vice versa (one iteration) and also OBCA to OBCB and vice versa (one iteration), and also EWS to UR similarly (one iteration) among intra groups of open and service candidates (as applicable).
WBMCC has further notified that, in the end, conversion of open to service and vice versa (one iteration) shall be allowed if the eligible, willing candidate is unavailable.
The counseling shall be conducted first for UR seats, then caste seats, and then for MO seats as per available vacancy. For UR seats (separate for open or service group), all candidates as per combined rank are allowed to participate provided they have obtained the cutoff of UR in NEET PG 2022 or NEET MDS 2022, as the case may be.
If NRI seats are vacant, the counseling can be done in parallel as the candidate profile is separate. If there is no such candidate, college authorities can convert the seat to Management quota after 4 pm 2-12-2022 for allotment.
There are two inter-related processes: allotment followed by admission, both to be done by college authorities as per rank in NIC Kolkata server, and both copies of the allotment letter and admission letter generated from the server shall be handed over to the concerned candidate.
This is in the interest of public service, and all concerned are hereby informed accordingly. The admitted candidate details shall be uploaded by the college authority in NMC /DCI server (as the case may be for Medical and Dental, respectively) without fail by midnight of 2-12-2022.
The Private Medical and Dental Colleges in West Bengal, namely KPC Medical College Kolkata; 10 City Medical College Durgapur; ICARE Haldia; MS Budge Budge; GIMSH Durgapur; GNIDSR Panihati; HIDSAR Haldia; allotment cum admission desks shall be placed at RG Kar Medical College Kolkata in the interest of public service.
