WBMCC issues notice for mop up round NEET PG candidates, details
West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) informed about WB PG Medical / Dental Mop Up Round Counseling 2022
In view of Notice published by Office of ADG (ME), Govt of India, Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi dated 19.10.2022 bearing Reference No. 11120-21/01/2022-MEC and Notice published by NBE, New Delhi dated 20.10.2022 bearing File No. 41001/NEET-.PG/2022; it is hereby notified that the cutoff has been revised as per the notices mentioned above.
The students who have now become eligible as per the revised cutoff and want to participate in WB PG Medical / Dental Mop Up Counseling 2022 may go for Online Registration as per the schedule published in the WBMCC website dated 02.11.2022 bearing Memo No. DME/Spl. Corresp/276/2022.
All India Counseling Authority has already published admitted candidate list in Round 1 and Round 2 who are remaining admitted after Round 2 of All India Quota counseling admission process 2022. This is vide Notice U12021/01/2022-MEC dated 29.10.2022 for NEET PG Medical and Dental candidates. Such candidates are not allowed to participate in WB State Quota Mop UP round.
Already registered candidates who have not filled up fresh choice in Mop Up round are not allowed in Mop Up counseling or any further round of counseling.
The candidates who remain admitted after round 2 of West Bengal State Quota Counseling are not allowed to participate in Mop Up counseling or further round of counseling.
The Surrendered candidates and the candidate who are cancelled during admission process due to lack of essential documents and the candidates who were cancelled during admission process due to change of category and thereby become non eligible for further round of counseling, are not allowed for participation in Mop Up counseling or further round of counseling.
Excluding the above candidates, the following category of candidates is allowed in WB State Quota Mop Up.
The candidates who remain not allotted till Round 2 are allowed to participate in Mop Up straight away by fresh choice filling; they do not need to pay the counseling fee again.
Already successfully verified candidates in Round 1 and Round 2 who failed to provide choice during the earlier rounds are allowed to participate in Mop Up; they do not need not pay the counseling fee again.
The candidates whose allotted seats were cancelled in round 2 due to inadequate documentation but still remain eligible for subsequent round with changed candidature , are allowed in Mop Up counseling straight away for choice filling and choice locking {after successful verification ).
The candidates who remain not reported during round 2 counseling are allowed to participate in Mop Up counseling but with penalty i.e. they have to do fresh fee payment
During the physical document verification process in the Mop Up round if the candidates fail to get verified themselves no initialization will be done i.e. they are out of the counseling process.
Private college admission counter will be at CNMC, Kolkata like previous Rounds.
