CPS Mumbai asks Students to appear for Compulsory Physical Attendance in Lecture Series
Mumbai: College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS) has issued a notification regarding students' compulsory physical attendance in CPS Lecture Series. The series for CPS enrolled students is scheduled to conduct from 1st June 2022 to 31st August 2022.
The students from various states of India who are enrolled with CPS will have to be physically present at CPS House, Dr E. Borges Rd., Parel, Mumbai – 400 012. All the students will have to compulsorily bring the Electronic Paperless Device (EPD) while coming for Lecture Series. The lecture attendance shall be recorded on the EPD itself, and no physical biometrics will be taken during lectures.
The lecture series includes the following courses –
1. FCPS (Anaesthesiology) and DA
2. TDD
3. DMRE (Part - I)
4. DMRE (Part - II)
5. FCPS (Orthopaedics) & D.Ortho
6. FCPS (Dermt & Vener.) and DDV
7. FCPS (Pathology) and DPB
8. FCPS (Obs. & Gyn.) and DGO
9. FCPS (Oto-Rhino-Laryngology) and DORL
10. DPM (Part - I & II)
11. FCPS (Pathology) & DPB
12. FCPS (Medicine), DGM & DTMH

The students who want to join the postgraduate course in CPS must have obtained a basic qualification of MBBS or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai, established in 1913, is an autonomous body imparting Postgraduate Medical Education and offers 10 Fellowships, 17 Diplomas, and 2 Certificate Courses. The qualifications granted by CPS Mumbai allow the Practitioner to register themselves as specialists in the speciality concerned upon duly completing the tenure of 2 years Diploma or 3 years Fellowship and passing the exit examination prescribed.
