In an order issued by the Principal, GMC Anantnag on October 3, 2026, disciplinary action was taken based on reports regarding an incident of ragging at the Boys Hostel, which were received by the college following an incident that took place during the intervening night of September 28 and 29, 2026.
Following this, the Anti-Ragging Committee of GMC Anantnag took cognisance of the matter and conducted a detailed and impartial inquiry into the allegations. The committee provided the concerned parties an opportunity to present their statements before submitting its findings to the Principal.
