Land made Available for AIIMS Manethi; construction to start soon
Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that the way people have come forward to support the establishment of AIIMS, is a commendable public sentiment and dream to have AIIMS in the area is going to turn into reality soon. He said that along with the people, the effort of the district administration is also appreciable for the establishment of AIIMS.
Chandigarh - Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that land has been made available of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Manethi, the construction of which will start soon. He said that the establishment of AIIMS will provide employment opportunities to the people of the region and Manethi's name will be on the world map.
Dr. Banwari Lal was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the new office of Sub-Tehsil, Manethi in village Manethi of Rewari district today.

Dr. Banwari Lal thanked all those who uploaded details regarding their land on the portal for the construction of AIIMS. He said that the way people have come forward to support the establishment of AIIMS, is a commendable public sentiment and dream to have AIIMS in the area is going to turn into reality soon. He said that along with the people, the effort of the district administration is also appreciable for the establishment of AIIMS.
He said that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Atmanirbhar Bharat Yojna has been started by Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi and the scheme aims to help people become self-reliant so that people of the country can support each other during these difficult times.
Dr. Banwari Lal said that a financial package of Rs 20 lakh crore, announced by the Prime Minister to provide relief to the sluggish economy and common people during the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has started to put the economy back on track. He said that to break the chain of COVID-19, we must follow the directions issued by the State Government and District Administration. He said that people should maintain a distance of two yards from each other and cover their mouth with a mask to prevent the spread of the infection.
