MAMC announces PG refresher course for Anaesthesia, check complete details

New Delhi: The Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) has announced the 'MAMC Anaesthesia Update- Post Graduate Refresher Course', scheduled from March 27 to March 31, 2026.
The five-day academic programme will be held at the MAMC College Auditorium in New Delhi and is specially designed to help postgraduate students revise key topics, sharpen clinical reasoning, and gain confidence ahead of university and exit examinations.
This refresher course is structured around what postgraduate students actually need before exams. The programme will feature:
• Live case-based discussions
• Examination-focused workshops
• OSCE orientation sessions
• Pre- and post-assessment evaluations
• Academic competitions with awards
The course is being organised under the guidance of senior faculty members at MAMC and LN Hospital. The organising committee includes experienced professors and academic coordinators who regularly mentor postgraduate students.
The team has encouraged departments across India to nominate and motivate their PG students to attend, describing the programme as an opportunity to “learn, revise, and refine” in a structured academic setting.
Registration is currently open with an early bird fee of ₹8,000 (till March 16). The fee increases to ₹10,000 after that date and ₹11,000 for on-spot registration.
Students can register through the official website
For queries, the organising team can be contacted via phone or email as mentioned in the official brochure.
For many postgraduate students, exam preparation can be stressful and overwhelming. Structured revision courses like this provide not only academic support but also reassurance and clarity before the final stretch.
With its mix of case discussions, faculty interaction, and exam-focused teaching, the MAMC Anaesthesia Update 2026 is expected to attract wide participation from anaesthesia residents across the country.
