KNRUHS issues notice on conduct of MDS Part II, Final year New and old Regulation exams May 2021

KNRUHS issues notice on conduct of MDS Part II, Final year New and old Regulation exams May 2021

Hyderabad: Through a recent notice, the RGUHS has informed about the conduct of MDS Part II (Final year) (New and old Regulation) examinations in the month of May 2021.

Eligibility to appear for MDS Part II (FINAL YEAR) (NEW REGULATION) Theory Examinations

➢ The PG Dental Degree students who have been admitted during the academic year 2018-19 into the Dental colleges affiliated to KNRUHS in Telangana state, whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS and those who have cleared the MDS Part I examination are eligible to appear for MDS Part II Final Year (NEW REGULATION) Examinations in the month of May 2021.

➢ The students should put in academic year wise compulsory attendance of 80% (EIGHTY PERCENT) in each year.

➢ Approval of dissertation work is an essential prerequisite for a candidate to appear in the University examination.

➢ The calculation of attendance percentage is up to 15.04.2021.

➢ The uploading of the attendance of the candidates from 19.04.2021 to 22.04.2021.

➢ The confirmation date for attendance is on 24.04.2021.

Scheme of Examination:

MDS PART II (Final Year) (New Regulation) Examination shall consist of Paper I, Paper II & Paper III, each of three hours duration.

Paper I

Two (2) long answer questions carrying 25 marks each and five (5) questions carrying 10 marks each.

Paper II

Two (2) long answer questions carrying 25 marks each and five (5) questions carrying 10 marks each.

Paper III

Three (3) questions will be given and student have to answer any two (2) questions. Each question carries 50 marks.

The candidates shall have to secure a minimum of 50% (FIFTY PERCENT) marks in MDS Part I examination and shall have to pass MDS Part I examination at least six months prior to the MDS Part II (Final) examination.

To pass the University Examination, a candidate shall secure in both theory and in practical/clinical including viva voce independently with an aggregate of 50% (FIFTY PERCENT) of total marks allotted (50 marks out of 100 marks in Part I examination and 150 marks out of 300 marks in Part II examination in theory and 150 marks out of 300 marks in clinical plus viva voce together).

10.05.2021 to 12.05.2021 (Offline payment with a fine of Rs 5000 in addition to previous fine of Rs 400) DD drawn in favor of "THE REGISTRAR, KNRUHS" payable at Warangal must reach the University by 12.05.2021 04:00 pm.

MDS final year (OLD REGULATION) EXAMINATIONS
Eligibility to appear for MDS FINAL YEAR theory Examinations
➢ The PG Dental Degree students who have been admitted during the academic years 2016-17 & 2017-18 into the Dental colleges affiliated to KNRUHS in Telangana state, whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS who are failed, detained or not written the previous MDS Final Year Examinations held in Oct/Nov 2020 are eligible to appear for MDS Final Year (OLD REGULATION) Examinations in the month of May 2021.
➢ The students should put in academic year wise compulsory attendance of 80% (EIGHTY PERCENT) in each year.
➢ Approval of dissertation work is an essential precondition for a candidate to appear in the University examination.
➢ The calculation of attendance percentage is up to 15.04.2021.
➢ The uploading of the attendance of the candidates from 19.04.2021 to 22.04.2021.
➢ The confirmation date for attendance is on 24.04.2021.
