MUHS releases rules of conduct of Winter 2020 practical re-exams on grounds of COVID-19
Mumbai: Through a recent notice, the MUHS has released the rules of conduct of Winter-2020 practical re-examination on the ground of Covid-19 disease.
1) These rules may be called as "RULES OF CONDUCT OF WINTER-2020 PRACTICAL RE-EXAMINATION ON THE GROUND OF COVID-19 DISEASE"
2) It extends to allthe examinees of Winter-2020 University examination of any Diploma, Degree (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) and Super-specialty courses of all health sciences faculty under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (hereinafter referred as 'the University').
3) The students/examinees that were appeared for written examination of Winter-2020 theory examination and detected COVID positive before the scheduled date of his practical examination and therefore unable to be present in person for practical examination on the scheduled date shall only be eligible to apply for Winter-2020 practical re-examination.
4) Such student/examinee may apply to avail the onetime facility of practical re-examination on the ground of his COVID-19 disease within three days from the date of his scheduled practical examination through email to the Controller of Examinations of the University.
5) Such application must be submitted through proper channel i.e. forwarded under the seal and signature of Dean / Director / Principal of the concern College / Institute and an attested copy of positive report of COVID-19 disease test must be attached with it. Incomplete applications and applications received after prescribed period may be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
6) The student/examinee absent for Winter-2020 practical examination other than the ground of his COVID-19 disease shall not be eligible to claim the onetime benefit of practical reexamination of Winter-2020.
7) After receipt of such application within the prescribed period, the result of such student shall be kept withheld and after due verification of his application and documents attached to the application, the practical examination will be re-scheduled on the convenient date within the further period of 45 days from the date of first scheduled date of practical examination. The withheld result of such examinee will be declared within maximum period of 15 days from the date of re-scheduled practical examination of Winter-2020. Such re-scheduled practical examination will not be treated as separate attempt.
