MUHS to Hold 24th Convocation on February 24

Last year i.e. in 2024, MUHS celebrated its 23rd convocation for various UG and PG courses on 23rd February 2023. Degree certificates/certificates were also awarded to the successful candidates of some courses in the convocation. Along with this, MUHS also celebrated a mini convocation on 22 July 2024. In the said convocation, degrees/diplomas conferred on eligible PhD candidates, students of postgraduate degree and diploma courses and students of undergraduate courses who completed their internship training by 21 July 2024, i.e., on the previous day of the additional (mini) convocation after the regular convocation.

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) is a higher education institution in Nashik, Maharashtra. The university was established on June 3, 1998, by the Government of Maharashtra through an ordinance. The State Legislature passed the ordinance, and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences was declared open by the governor of Maharashtra on June 10, 1998. All colleges and institutions imparting education in health science in the state of Maharashtra have been affiliated with this new university under Section 6(3) of the Act.

The university was established to ensure proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training and research in modern medicine and Indian systems of medicine. MUHS offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including PhD in all branches of health sciences.
