Although the name of candidate who secured AIR 8 is not known, College Dekho adds that this positions has been secured by Roll No 23661110342 with 715 marks..

AIR 1 Dr. Arushi Narwani:

Hailing from Jaipur, Dr Arushi Narwani is from VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital and she has become NEET PG 2023 topper scoring 725 marks out of 800. This is the second time that a female candidate has topped the PG medical entrance examination because last year the position had been secured by Dr Shagun Batra, who had scored altogether 705 marks out of 800 marks.

Soon after the results were declared, Dr Arushi shared her preparation tips in a YouTube channel. She mentioned that her golden rule for preparation was following only one source for the purpose of studying.

India.com adds that Dr Arushi mentioned how during the COVID-19 pandemic, she studied online and later switched of offline classes. She also said that while preparing for the exam, she used to take a day off every week to meet her friends and chill.

Dr Arushi hails from a family of doctors with her mother Dr Riya Narwani teaching anatomy at Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh Medical College. Her father, on the other hand, Dr Sanjay Narwani is an ENT surgeon.

While as a child, Dr Aarushi did not believe becoming a doctor in future, she mentioned that it was only when she was in class 12 that she decided to pursue medicine since her favourite subject was biology, adds Hindustan Times.

Commenting on her preparations for NEET-PG 2023, she mentioned, “I started preparing for NEET-PG in 2020. The Covid-19 lockdown was going on, so most of my preparations happened at home... Preparations started becoming intense when I started my internship at Safdarjung… We have to be on duty for 12 hours, and sometimes even 24 hours.”

Dr Narwani is now planning to get enrolled for Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Even though she has not made her final decision yet, she is likely to take up radiology. “I am yet to make that call,” she mentioned.
