NEET PG, NEET MDS 2022 Counselling Process to begin soon, Check out list of required documents
New Delhi: NEET-PG 2022 and NEET-MDS 2022 counselling process will begin soon. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the dates for the counselling process on the website mcc.nic.in.
MCC conducts counselling for 50% of All India Quota seats and state counselling authorities fill 50% of the state quota seats. The merit list will be released based on the cutoff percentile received in the NEET exam. Candidates whose names will be there on the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling rounds of NEET PG 2022.
A total of 4 rounds will be conducted for the admission process round 1, round 2, the mop-up round, and the stray vacancy round. The seat allotment is done based on choice filled, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and other factors.
The candidates will have to carry the following documents –
1. NEET PG 2022 admit card and results.
2. Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS professional examinations.
3. MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.
4. Completion certificate of internship.
5. Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC).
6. Date of birth and valid ID proof.
7. Caste certificate (if applicable).
8. Disability Certificate (if applicable).
Around 26168 Doctor of Medicine (MD) 13649 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma seats will be granted in 6102 medical colleges and 6501 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats are available.
The Medical Counselling Committee is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. MCC is responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. The seats are allocated online on the basis of the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
