83 seats vacant at AIIMS for MSc Nursing round 2 admissions 2026

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the vacant seat positions for the second round of seat allocation for MSc Nursing courses for the 2026 session, giving candidates a fresh look at the speciality-wise and category-wise seats available across participating AIIMS institutes.
The vacancy matrix covers a total of 83 vacant seats available under UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and In-Service categories. Separate PwBD reservations have also been indicated against applicable courses.
Among the participating institutes, AIIMS Jodhpur has the highest number of vacant seats at 13, spread across several nursing specialities. At AIIMS New Delhi, 10 seats remain vacant for the second round.
AIIMS Bathinda has nine vacant seats, including four in Community Health Nursing and three in Paediatric Nursing. AIIMS Bhopal has seven vacant seats, including three in Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing, two in Community Health Nursing and one each in Medical Surgical Nursing (Critical Care) and Neurosciences Nursing.
At AIIMS Kalyani, seven seats are vacant. AIIMS Rishikesh also has seven vacancies. Six seats are vacant at AIIMS Gorakhpur. Similarly, AIIMS Raipur has six vacant seats. The matrix also shows five vacancies at AIIMS Bibinagar. Below is the detailed seat matrix-

Therefore, candidates participating in the second round of MSc Nursing counselling should carefully review the institute-wise, speciality-wise and category-wise vacancy positions before proceeding with the seat allocation process.
Since the matrix includes separate reservation positions for UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, In-Service and PwBD candidates, applicants should ensure that the seats they are considering correspond with their eligibility category.
