KNRUHS invites applications for BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc nursing admissions 2025, details

Telangana- The Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission into the BSc Nursing and post Basic BSc Nursing courses for the academic year 2025- 26 under Competent Authority Quota into all Government and Private Nursing colleges.

As per the notification, the candidates can register online and upload scanned certificates till 30 September 2025, 05.00 PM. Through the notification, KNRUHS has detailed all the important details for the candidates willing to take admission in the said Nursing courses.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION INTO B.SC.(NURSING) 4YDC AND POST BASIC BSC(N) 2 YDC COURSE

A candidate for admission into the B.Sc. (Nursing) and Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) courses under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana should be an Indian National/Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholder and shall fulfil the following conditions-

1 The candidate should have studied in the Educational Institutions in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four (4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination.

2 Where during; the whole or any part of the four (4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he has not studied in Educational Institutions, he should have resided in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared.

3 Further, in case the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the state of Telangana as stated at (ii) above, to be eligible for admission into B.Sc. (Nursing) and P.B. B.Sc. (Nursing) courses under Competent Authority Quota, the candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR POST-BASIC BSC(N) 2 YDC COURSE

Candidates seeking admission into the Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) Course

1 should have passed the Intermediate Examination. or Any other equivalent examination (10+2 pattern) recognised by the University in Telangana or Board of Intermediate Education Telangana or NIOS, TOSS – Indian Nursing Council Regulations. &

2 Candidates should have passed General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognised by the Govt of Telangana or the Nursing Council of India and shall be registered with the State Nursing Council.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM AND ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION FOR FINAL VERIFICATION

1 Visit the website through a Computer with an Internet connection to fill out the application form.

2 Fill in all the details in the online application form and upload all the documents which are mandatory.

3 On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position.

4 The mere fact that the Merit position issued to the candidate does not imply that the candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by the candidate in the online application are accepted as true and correct.

5 Candidates may please note that the University will take up the verification of certificates with regard to eligibility conditions, i.e., educational qualifications, Local area status, and category status by the concerned department officials. If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action deemed fit will be taken.

6 Candidates' eligibility for admission into P.B.BSc(N)2YDC and BSc (N)4YDC course for the academic year 2025-26 will be examined only after scrutiny of the application and verification of the uploaded Original certificates and the provisional final merit list will be notified.

7 Online Registration, along with uploading of Scanned Original certificates, will be done only once, irrespective of the number of counselling sessions. Online verification of uploaded original certificates will also be done only once. Therefore, the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory Certificates without fail.

8 Scrutiny of the application and uploaded Original Certificates will be done and the provisional final merit list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to the KNRUHS website for further details regarding the schedule for exercising web options. No individual communication will be sent.

9 Admissions will be in accordance with the Orders issued from time to time by, Government of Telangana, Nursing Council of India, relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and High Court orders and University regulations.

10 An ineligible candidate obtaining a Merit position does not make the candidate eligible for admission.

REGISTRATION AND VERIFICATION FEE

The registration and verification fee is Rs 2,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC and BC candidates and Rs 2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST Candidates for each course. Fee shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

1 TG –EAPCET -2025 Hall Ticket.

2 TG –EAPCET -2025 – Rank Card.

3 Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo). (Mandatory).

4 Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination for admission, i.e. Intermediate or Equivalent Examination (Mandatory).

5 Study Certificates from 9th to 10th (If More than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file) (Mandatory).

6 Study Certificates - Intermediate for 2 Years (If More than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file) (Mandatory).

7 Residence certificate of the candidate issued by MRO / Tahasildar of Telangana for a period of four (04) years (Period to be specified with exact month and year) for open school candidates. pdf 500 KB.

8 EWS Certificate (If applicable) valid for 2025-26.

9 Transfer Certificate.

10 Latest Caste Certificate (If applicable).

11 Latest Parental Income Certificate (If applicable).

12 Aadhar Card (Mandatory).

13 Candidate’s Latest passport-size Photo (Mandatory).
