PGIMER invites applications for BSc Nursing courses 2026, entrance test on July 24

Chandigarh: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has commenced the admission process for its BSc Nursing (4 Year) and Post basic BSc Nursing programmes for the academic session 2026, inviting online applications from eligible candidates.
Eligible candidates seeking admission to the nursing courses can apply online and appear for the Computer-Based Entrance Test (CBET), which is scheduled to be held on July 24, 2026, online application window will remain open from June 1 to June 30, 2026.
Online applications are invited for admission to B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) and B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) for the academic session 2026.
Number of seats for B.Sc. Nursing Courses:

* As per provisions (Chapter VI Clause 32) of Rights of the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Act 2016, five percent seats shall be allotted on horizontal basis.
• The candidates having disability of locomotor to the tune of 40%to 50%of lower extremity declared by authorized Medical Board of the State Govt. / Govt. of India or any other Competent Authority authorized in this regard by Government having Nursing expert as a member of the Board only to be considered.
• Color Blind candidates are eligible provided that color corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
