Faridkot: 90 seats have been allotted for BSc Paramedical Courses 2022 - 23 session,  Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced this through a written notice. The merit list and the details related to choice filling have also been released.

The candidates who are registered can only participate in the counselling process. They should read the eligibility conditions carefully, and merely exercising the online college option does not entitle them to admission. Eligibility conditions for admissions are as per Prospectus. Those who are not eligible as per will not be considered for admission.

During online counseling, candidates must submit their choices/preferences, college & category. Provisional seats shall be allocated as per 10+2 (PCB%) merit and in order of preferences given by the candidate. Therefore, candidates are advised to take proper caution while filling up the order of preferences, college & category.

The candidates can submit multiple choices/preferences, college & category, in order of their preference. Candidates of reserved categories (who have scored marks equivalent to or more than the minimum cut-off of open merit marks) will be considered in open merit first. If the reserved category candidates are eligible for open merit, then open merit seats will be allocated.

BFUHS has further notified that the seat of reserve category shall only be allocated only in the category filled at the time of applying online application form.

After the provisional allocation of seats, candidates can download the provisional allotment letter from the University website after logging into their account and reporting to the allotted college along with all original documents for checking documents and their eligibility. Issuing a provisional selection slip alone does not confer any right to claim the allocated seat. Their provisional selection is subject to verification of documents and checking eligibility mentioned in the Prospectus.

If the candidates are found violating the process at any stage, their allocated seats will be canceled. In addition, their seat will be declared vacant for the subsequent round of counselling. The candidates who want to quit the course/seat must submit the application to the respective college regarding their surrender of the seat before the start of round 2 or up to the stipulated period.

Important steps to follow while filling out online choices –

1. The candidate can Add/Modify (Edit)/Delete choices.

2. The candidates should fill in the maximum number of choices in order of preference.

3. The candidates should fill only those choices for which they are firm to join and willing to pay the requisite fee.

4. The option to print the data filled by the candidates will be available after midnight of the last date of filling out the online choices/preferences form.
