DME Assam To Conduct Counselling for 1st Year Diploma In Paramedical Courses In June, details
Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME Assam) will conduct the counseling schedule for admission into the 1st-year Diploma in Paramedical courses from 6th June 2023 to 9th June 2023. The counseling will be conducted for admission into the Institutes of Paramedical Sciences attached to the Medical Colleges of Assam for the 2022 session.
The detailed schedule –
Venue of counseling - Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati - 22
Time of counseling - At 10:00 AM
6th June 2023 –
1. All candidates who secured a minimum of 86% Marks and above in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together.
2. All candidates applied under the Physically Handicapped quota.
7th June 2023 –
1. All candidates secured below 86% Marks to 80% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
After filling up all un-reserved seats in the Institute of Paramedical Sciences attached to the Medical Colleges of Assam, the remaining candidates belonging to reserved categories who secured marks up to 86% will be accommodated in their respective categories in order of merit on the same day.
8th June 2023 –
2. Candidates under the EWS category who secured below 80% Marks to 78% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
3. Candidates under the SCHEDULED CASTE category who secured below 80% Marks to 70% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
4. Candidates under S.T. (P) category who secured below 80% Marks to 76% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
9th June 2023 –
1. Candidates under S.T. (H) category who secured below 80% Marks to 60% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
2. Candidates under OBC/MOBC category who secured below 80% Marks to 78% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
3. Candidates under the Un-employed Family Quota category who secured below 80% Marks to 76% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
4. All Candidates who applied under the Char Area Quota category.
5. Candidates under TGL/Ex-TGL category as per the select list of Director of Tea Tribe Welfare, Assam Session 2022 (List uploaded in the official of this Directorate www.dme.assam.gov.in).
Candidates applying under various reserved categories must produce the appropriate certificates/testimonials etc., in original issued by the competent authority before the Selection Board.
Candidates must bring with them all original testimonials –
1. Marks sheets of 10+2 Exam,
2. Admit Card of HSLC examination,
3. Pass Certificates,
4. Permanent Resident Certificate,
5. Caste certificates,
6. Un-Employment Family certificate
7. Other relevant documents
During counseling, separate photocopies of the said documents and recent passport-size photos will be required. The certificates must be issued by Char Area Development Authority and countersigned by the concerned DC/SDO for Char Area candidates.
All candidates should appear personally for counseling on the scheduled dates and time, failing which they will forfeit their merit positions, and no claim shall be considered later. In case of any matter of controversy, the decision of the Selection Board shall be final and binding.
