Dermatologist jumps to death from 12th floor

Suicide
New Delhi: In an unfortunate incident, a well-known dermatologist allegedly committed suicide a few days ago by jumping from the 12th floor of a building. The doctor, who had not yet turned 40, was highly regarded in the medical community.
A doctor and health activist known as 'Indian Doctor' on the social media platform 'X' shared the heartbreaking news, describing the deceased as a brilliant dermatologist with over 200 PubMed-indexed publications.
"He was always eager and ready to help everyone with his knowledge and skills, but unfortunately, he died by suicide," the user wrote.

The activist also shared a post hinting at possible harassment, though the cause behind the suicide remains unknown and unconfirmed. The post claimed that the dermatologist was allegedly exploited by seniors and associations, raising suspicions of possible harassment.
Calling for a thorough investigation, the activist wrote in a follow-up post, "Allegedly, he was exploited by many seniors and associations. A serious investigation is needed regarding these claims."
The image he shared included a quote that read, "Unfortunately, his brilliance was exploited by many seniors and associations. Since I do not know the details, I will not comment further. Their conscience and karma will surely catch up with them."
Several doctors and social media users reacted to the incident. One doctor commented, "This is a serious issue, even during MBBS and PG. So many problems occur, but nobody wants to listen. The same trauma continues when they become seniors. When will this stop? What are the HODs and seniors trying to do?"
Another user, who claimed to be the dermatologist's former classmate, wrote, "He was my classmate and one of the brightest students in school. He became a highly successful doctor. I’m not sure what triggered this. It is sad how our mental health is deteriorating every day."
