New Delhi: Renowned dental surgeon Dr. Anil Kohli has been elected unopposed as Vice President of the International College of Dentists (ICD), USA, marking another significant milestone in his distinguished career in dentistry.
Dr. Kohli holds an MDS qualification and specializes in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. He is also a Diplomate of the International College of Implantologists. During his early professional career, he received a Gold Medal for being the Best House Surgeon.
With around 25 years of experience in private dental practice, Dr Kohli has been associated with several professional milestones. His clinic was among the first to receive ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Among the most notable honours of his career are the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan. In 1992, Dr. Kohli became the first dentist in India to receive the Padma Shri, one of the country's highest civilian honours. In 2005, he was conferred the Padma Bhushan by then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
