Vijayawada: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has invited online applications for admission to PG Medical and PG Dental courses in the state.

The online applications can be submitted till 31.7.2023. The candidates need to use the following link –

1. Medical –https://pgcq.ysruhs.com/

2. Dental - https://mdscq.ysruhs.com/

Application, Registration and Processing Fee –

1. OC & BC Candidates – ₹.7,080/- (6,000/- + 1,080/- GST 18%) (Registration fee ₹. 3,500/- + 630/- GST 18% & Processing fee ₹.2,500/- + 450/- GST 18%)

2. SC & ST Candidates – ₹.5,900/- (5,000/- + 900/- GST 18% (Registration fee ₹. 3,000/- + 540/- GST 18% & Processing fee ₹.2,000/- + 360/- GST 18%)

Verification Fee: In addition to the above said Registration & Processing fee –

1. The candidates who acquired their MBBS/BDS Degree outside the AP/TS State shall pay Rs.3,540/- (i.e., Rs.3,000/- + 540/- GST 18%)

2. The candidates who acquired their MBBS/BDS Degree Abroad/Foreign Country shall pay Rs.8,260/- (i.e., Rs.7,000/- + 1,260/- GST 18%)

3. The selected candidates have to download the Allotment order by paying an amount of the University fee of Rs.23,600/- online.

Documents to be uploaded along with the application form –

NEET PG – 2023/MDS – SCORECARD. (Mandatory)

Date of Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo). (Mandatory)

Provisional or Original MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate. (Mandatory)

MBBS/BDS study certificate. (Mandatory)

Compulsory Rotatory Internship certificate. (Mandatory)

Copies of Temporary / Permanent Medical Registration from the respective State Medical/Dental Council. (Mandatory)

If the candidate passed MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, he/she has to submit study certificates from 6th to Intermediate / 10+2.

If the candidate passed BDS from Govt.Dental College, Vijayawada, Govt. Dental College, Hyderabad (or) Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad, he/she has to submit study certificates from 6th to Intermediate / 10+2.

For Non-Local candidates -

For claiming un-reserved seats in the colleges established before 02.06.2014

10 years study certificates of AP/TS, in respect of candidates who studied MBBS in Other States (other than AP/Telangana)

OR

Residence certificate of the candidate or either parent issued by MRO / Tahasildar of AP/TS for a period of ten - years (Period to be specified with exact month and year) excluding the period of study/employment outside the state.

OR

Current employment certificate of either of parents if working in AP/ TS

For Non-Local candidates -

For claiming un-reserved seats in the colleges established and increased seats in the State of Andhra Pradesh after 02.06.2014

Minimum 10 years Study Certificates of Student / either of parents of AP State, if MBBS is from outside AP State.

OR

Minimum 10 years Residence Certificate of Andhra Pradesh State of either of parents

OR

Current employment Certificate of either of parents, if working in Andhra Pradesh only.

Caste Certificate, if applicable

Minority Certificate, if applicable

Photo Identity card having the current residential address of the candidate (Aadhar Card) (Mandatory)

Differently, abled certificate issued by the Competent Authority as specified in the Regulations in case of PwBD (Person with disability) candidates

Service Certificate in case of In-service candidates as in Annexure-IV A & IV B of Prospectus.

Local status Certificate issued by MRO of AP (candidates migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh (If Applicable)

Candidate’s Latest passport-size Photo (Mandatory)

Specimen Signature of the Candidate (Mandatory)

Details issued –

The Registration number, which will be sent to the registered mobile number after entering the basic details, should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidential and should not be disclosed to others. The candidates should fill - in all the correct details in the online application form and shall upload all the Scanned Original documents, including the mandatory certificates.

The provisional Final Merit list will be released after verification of all uploaded certificates. The total number of seats under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2023-24 will be placed on Dr YSR UHS website before the commencement of web options.

Scrutiny of uploaded documents/data will be conducted by the Officials of the University and other Officials from the concerned Departments. After the scrutiny of scanned documents, the provisional merit list will be released and then after final merit list will be released.

The candidate should produce the Printout of the filled-in Online application form, Provisional verification form and all Original certificates, along with One set of self-attested Copies to the Principal of the allotted college at the time of joining for final verification. In case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment order will be cancelled without any notice. The candidates are informed not to send the printout of the application form to the University.

Candidates are informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled, and action shall be initiated as per the Rules.

The verification fee, registration fee and processing fee, once paid, will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying for admission into PG Medical courses. The application form, once submitted, cannot be withdrawn, and the fee paid shall not be refunded/adjusted.

The selected candidates have to download the Allotment order by paying an amount of the University fee of Rs.23,600/- through online mode.

The candidates are advised to submit a printout of the filled-in online application form duly signed at the declaration area at the reporting college.

The merit position of the candidates applied shall be determined based on NEET PG/MDS 2023 Ranks and as per their eligibility.

The University will release the final merit position of the candidates eligible for exercising Web options after completion of the verification of data and certificates uploaded by the candidates.

Candidates who are included in the final merit list will only be eligible for exercising web options, and the counselling for admissions will be held through online (web) mode only.

The cutoff date for reporting at the allotted college by the selected candidates will be communicated in the allotment order.

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, is a University established by Govt. of AP State Legislature Act 1995 as an autonomous institute. The tuition fee, training, rules and regulations, stipend, bonds, honorarium during compulsory service etc., are as per SVIMS norms appended herewith. Duration of course –

The duration of PG Diploma courses is 2 years, and PG Degree courses are 3 years from the date of commencement of the course, including University Examinations.

ELIGIBILITY -

Candidates should have passed MBBS/BDS Degree examination from are cognized Medical college/Dental college/University, respectively.

Candidates should have secured the cutoff scores or above in NEET PG–2023/NEET MDS-2023.

The candidates should complete their internship by -

For PG (Medical)Courses-11-08-2023

Note: candidates who are going to complete the Internship by11-08-2023 shall submit a certificate duly signed by the Dean/Principal in the prescribed proforma (Refer to Prospectus for Proforma)

For PG (Dental)Courses -30-06-2023

The candidate should fulfil the local area status as mentioned in the Prospectus.

Candidates must satisfy Local/Non-Local status as per G.O.P.NO. 646, Education (W) Department, Dated 10th July 1979 for Competent Authority Quota seats.

The procedure for Admissions/Selection/Seat Matrix is as per Government Orders, subsequent amendments and any other orders that may be issued by the Govt. of A.P/Dr. YSR UHS from time to time for Non-service/In-service candidates wherever applicable. The details are enclosed in the notice below.

Service Candidates for PG Medical/Dental –

Service rendered up to 30-06-2023 shall be considered for considering candidates under In-service Quota seats.

Out of 50% of the seats in the State Government quota, 30% of clinical & 50% of nonclinical seats will be exclusively allocated to in-service candidates serving in Government Health Institutions in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Number of seats under competent authority quota/state quota –

PG Medical -

1. Government Medical Colleges: 50% of the total available seats are contributed to AIQ. The Remaining 50% of seats are for State Quota under Competent Authority.

2. Private Un-Aided Non-Minority Medical Colleges: 50% of the seats available are Competent Authority Quota. The remaining 50% of seats are Management Quota.

PG Dental -

1. Government Dental Colleges: 50% of the total available seats are in the State quota under Competent Authority. 50% of seats are surrendered to AIQ, which MCC, New Delhi, fill.

2. Private Un-Aided Non-Minority Dental Colleges: 50% of the total available seats are in Competent Authority Quota. The remaining 50% is under Management Quota(MQ).
