Govt Doctor found working at Private Hospital, arrested
Solan: A doctor who is the head of Anaesthesia Department at Dr YS Parmar Government Medical College, Nahan was arrested by a team of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau for providing services at a private hospital at Solan, which is in violation of the rules.
IGP, Vigilance Bureau, Rameshwar Thakur stated that the doctor was arrested on the evening of 6th January, following which he got bail from a Nahan court the next day.

The vigilance would be filing a charge sheet after investigation in the case, reports the South web.
The officials of the Bureau had received complaints that the accused doctor was often found providing services in private hospitals due to which the patients at the medical college had to wait for weeks in order to consult him. They got information that the doctor used to work at a private hospital in Solan on certain days in a week.
The vigilance officials also interacted with many patients who were receiving treatment from the doctor. On Wednesday, the bureau received information that the doctor was on leave from the medical college and he could be found working at a private hospital in Solan.
After receiving the complaint, the team from bureau raided a private hospital and caught the doctor red handed, providing services there, reports the Tribune India. He was reported to be on leave from the government medical college. The vigilance had been monitoring the activities of the doctor for a long time.
As per the media report in South web, the Anti-Corruption Bureau Superintendent of Police Anjum Ara said that a case had been registered against the doctor, adding that the investigation is ongoing. He added that action would be taken under legal provisions in such cases.
