Man charged for using forged BAMS degree, treated patients for over a year

Jabalpur’s Fake Doctor Arrested After Year of Deception
Jabalpur: In a shocking incident, a man has been accused of impersonating a doctor by using forged BAMS degree to work at Jabalpur District Hospital for over a year. Following this, a local court has ordered an FIR against the 'fake doctor. '
The case came to light after a complaint filed by Shaineindra Bari, who exposed the accused fraudulent actions. Bari claimed that the accused managed to secure a position as a medical officer at the hospital by submitting a counterfeit Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree, which he claimed was issued by Rani Durgavati University in Jabalpur.
In addition to his fraudulent medical practice, the accused also used a registration number that he falsely claimed was issued by the Madhya Pradesh Ayurveda and Unani Medical System and Naturopathy Board in Bhopal. He provided the registration number 56970, which belonged to Dr. Iram Jahan Mansoori, a legitimate medical professional. To further enhance the legitimacy of his credentials, the man also fabricated a certificate for a Master of Alternative System of Medicine (MASM).
