Doctor’s Son Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Jhansi
Jhansi: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old son of a doctor from Jhansi was found dead near railway tracks on Sunday morning under mysterious circumstances, leaving his family and the local community in shock.
The deceased, a first-year student at Jindal Law College in Hisar, was identified after an Aadhaar card was found near the body. Police informed his father, who serves as the head of the Community Health Centre in Babina, that the body was discovered a couple of kilometres from their residence near Sudarshan Garden on Unnao Road. Both locations fall under the jurisdiction of the Sipri Bazar police station.

Following the discovery, scores of people, including members of the local medical fraternity, such as the CMO, visited the family home at Pitambara Enclave. The family expressed deep grief and demanded a thorough investigation into why the deceased was at the railway site, emphasizing that he had no plans to visit Jhansi and had only recently been in the city during Holi.
The father said the case appeared suspicious, “My son was very bright in his studies. I don’t understand why he would come to Jhansi without informing us. The body was found on the Jhansi–Kanpur railway track, not on the Jhansi–Delhi route. Also, the injury appears only on the head. The matter should be thoroughly investigated,” he said, according to the UNI report.
Authorities are awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, CO (City) Laxmikant Gautam said they are awaiting the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death and will investigate the circumstances behind Sanchay's presence there, reports TOI.
