Medical officer attacked at Nanded Hospital by relatives of woman, video goes viral

Nanded: A video circulating on social media shows a medical officer at a government hospital in Nanded allegedly being beaten by relatives of a woman who accused him of molestation.

Although the incident occurred a few days ago, it came to light recently after the video went viral. A group of men reportedly assaulted him while he was sitting in his office.

The incident took place at a government hospital in the Kautha area of Nanded city. The doctor was in his cabin when some women and their relatives arrived and attacked him.

Following this, the woman began accusing the doctor of molestation. The confrontation soon turned into a verbal argument between them. The relatives who were present at the scene got angry and reportedly began beating the doctor.

In the viral footage, the doctor is seen arguing with the woman moments before two men started beating him. The doctor is seen trying to defend himself by guarding his hands.

As per a Free Press Journal news report, no official complaint has been filed with the police station in this regard.

Medical Dialogues recently reported that a 30-year-old female doctor was allegedly assaulted inside her own hospital's OPD in Rajendra Park by two women while attending to patients. The accused reportedly forced their way into the hospital, claiming the doctor had failed to repay a loan of Rs 3 lakh and demanding that she hand over the hospital to them.
