Shatab News has reported that the prosecutor for Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Bahid Mousavian has informed that the cardiologist was killed around at 11 p.m. near his residence in the Raja district of Yasuj.
Commenting on the matter, Mousavian told the reporters, "Measures and instructions to identify and arrest the suspect were initiated by the special investigator the same night."
Meanwhile, the suspect fled after the attack and posted an image of the bloody knife on Instagram and threatened other doctors over delays in patient care. The suspect claimed that his actions were driven by Davoodi's alleged negligence in treatment, leading to the patient's death.
Medical Dialogues reported about a horrific incident of violence against doctor in Chennai today, when an on-duty senior oncologist at Kalainagar Centenary Hospital in Chennai was stabbed seven times by a patient's son
After receiving several stab wounds in his neck, head, and upper chest, the doctor was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the same hospital in critical condition.
While police sources told IANS that the exact motive behind the attack is still unclear, a hospital staff member, who wished to remain anonymous, informed IANS that the youth reportedly took this extreme step after expressing dissatisfaction with the treatment provided to his mother at the hospital.
