Delhi: Surgeon Dr Jayalal took charge as the new national president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) for the year 2000-2021 at its 95th annual National conference which was held recently. While taking charge, the doctor announced his aim to fight against mixopathy, pointing that the association would continue opposing the move of the government to promote " khichadi medicine" in the country.
Dr Jayalal is an associate professor of surgery at Tirunelveli Medical College. The annual conference of the Indian Medical Association and installation of Dr. J. A. Jayalal as the new national president of IMA for the year 2020-2021 took place on 28/12/20 at ITC Chola.
