Andhra Pradesh: Mandatory transfer for medical professionals working under the AP Medical Policy Council
Vijayawada: Medical professionals who have worked in the same place for five years under the Andhra Pradesh Medical Policy Council in the Department of Medicine and Health would have to go through a mandatory transfer now, as per the Andhra Pradesh government order.
The transfer order was issued by the health, medical and family welfare department on January 28, reports the Deccan Chronicle. As per the guidelines, the transfer application are required to reach the competent authority by February 15, ad the applications are required to be examined and processed on or before Feb. 18.
As per a media report in the Hans India, the officials stated that around 1,023 employees would be transferred because of this rule. The medical dialogues team had earlier reported that the employers have been caught bribing either to get transferred or to avoid getting transferred after the transfer order was issued by the health, medical and family welfare department on January 28,

There are 2100 vacant posts in the 83 cadres. Further, the details of the vacancies are uploaded in the website. After logging into the website, the employees could find out the transfer application process, required certificates and other details.
The posting allocation and the transfer proceedings would be generated online. A few committees have been formed to conduct counselling under top health officials including the director of medical education, commissioner of APVVP, commissioner of family welfare, director of public health etc. The competent authorities would issue the transfer order following this, reports the Deccan Chronicle.
The identification of vacancies within the Public Health Department is in its final stage, where the details of the employees who have worked in the same place for five years and are in mandatory transfers list is being finalized.
The details of vacancies within the districts and zones by section are registered on the website, with the superiors taking affidavits from the DMHOs and Regional Directors. After this process gets completed, the options would be taken from the employees, reports the Hans India.
