Amaravati: The construction and modernisation of 150 Ayush health centres across the state, at an outlay of Rs 44 crore, will be completed within two months, said Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav on Tuesday.
The Minister noted that the initiative aimed to bolster traditional Indian medicine and improve access to Ayush services in both rural and urban areas.
"Construction and modernisation of 150 Ayush health centres at a cost of Rs 44 crore is progressing rapidly and will be completed within two months," said Yadav in an official press release, reports PTI.

Satya Kumar Yadav stated that the NDA coalition government is focused on bringing traditional medical services closer to the people.
Officials apprised the Minister of the works being carried out under the National Ayush Mission (NAM) 2025' 26 plan, covering both new constructions and upgradation of existing facilities.
Out of the total 150 centres, modernisation is being carried out in 90 centres, while 60 new Ayush health centres are being constructed in government hospitals.
Among the new centres, 26 are located in Primary Health Centres (PHCs), 26 in Community Health Centres (CHCs), and eight in district hospitals, it said.
Nearly 50 per cent of the work has been completed so far, with the remaining expected to be finished within two months to make the centres fully operational, said the press release.
The works are being carried out under the supervision of the Andhra Pradesh Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC).
Each centre is being developed as per Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) guidelines and Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) branding norms, ensuring standardised infrastructure.
New Ayush centres in district hospitals are being constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh each in Eluru, Machilipatnam, Ongole, Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool and Nandyal.
