Assam: Arya Hospital granted NABH Accreditation
Guwahati: Arya Hospital is now fully accredited under NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) based on the quality healthcare and patient safety services.
The hospital is a unit of the North Eastern Medical Research Institute in Rehabari, Guwahati and is considered to be Assam's 6th hospital to receive NABH accreditation.
As per the rules laid down by the NABH, the hospital has shown excellent results in providing top-level healthcare services to patients in the Northeast region. It is a leading hospital in Assam for its high standard of 24x7 quality treatment that is provided to all patients equally.

NN Now reports that five other hospitals have been granted full accreditation by NABH in Assam including Down Town Hospital, Narayana Hrudayalaya Guwahati, GNRC North Guwahati, Health City Hospital and Chandraprabha Eye Hospital in Jorhat.
NABH is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation programmes for healthcare organisations. the board is structured to cater to the much-desired needs of the consumers and to set benchmarks for the progress of the health industry. The board while being supported by all stakeholders including industry, consumers, and government, have full functional autonomy in its operation.

NABH is an Institutional Member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (lSQua) and is also a member of the Accreditation Council of ISOua. NABH is endorsed by Asian Society for Quality in Healthcare (ASQua). NABH Accredited hospitals adhere to internationally recognized standards and protocols.
