Divisional Commissioner inspects Manorama Raje TB Hospital, directs staff to maintain cleanliness
Indore: The Divisional Commissioner of Indore division, Mal Singh Bhaydiya has inspected the Manorama Raje TB Hospital as part of his ongoing visits to hospitals associated with MGM Medical College.
This was the sixth hospital the commissioner visited. Dean Dr Sanjay Dixit was also present during the inspection.

He checked the wards of the hospitals and asked about the health services. He asked the patients about the quality of treatment and facilities of the hospital.
Expressing concern over the cleanliness in the hospital, the administrative official directed the officials to improve the facilities within the hospital and its premises, as per a media report in the Free Press Journal.
He inspected the records of the store and collected information about the medicine stock in the hospital. He asked the staff to put the names of on-duty doctors on the display board. He also held a meeting with the Head of Departments and directed them to improve the hostel administration and address other issues related to the hospital building.
Speaking to TOI, the dean Dixit said, "The commissioner inspected the MRTB Hospital. He directed PWD officials to improve the hospital building condition."
Before this, the commissioner had visited the MY Hospital the previous week as part of his inspection. During the visit, he asked the superintendent Dr PS Thakur to serve show-cause notices to the cleaning staff and nurses who were absent during duty hours. He warned the staff to properly maintain the facilities and indicated that he could come for a surprise inspection at any time.
Based on the directions of the divisional commissioner, the hospital administration had been serving show-cause notices to a number of staff members including nurses, and fourth-grade employees. He has been on a series of inspections lately and has been asking officials to take action.
