New Delhi: A fire broke out inside the boy's hostel at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) in New Delhi early on Sunday. Seven fire tenders were rushed to the site and no casualties were reported.
Fire broke out at a hostel of the Maulana Azad Medical College here on Sunday morning, but there was no loss of life, officials said. According to them, the information about the blaze at the old boys hostel was received at 6.09 am.
Seven fire tenders were rushed to the site. The fire had affected the AC, furniture and clothes in a room on the first floor of the building, as per a senior fire official, reports PTI.

The fire was extinguished and no causality or injury to anyone has been reported, they said.
Moreover, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they added.
Another fire broke out in the shanty in northwest Delhi''s Jahangirpuri at 10.23 am. Eleven fire tenders have been rushed to the site, officials added.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that a fire broke inside the intensive care unit (ICU) located on the fourth floor of a multi-storey private hospital building in Greater Noida, five persons were rescued from the facility, following which no person suffered injuries in the incident. No person suffered injuries in the incident and the fire was completely doused within an hour. The fire was reported from Naveen Hospital in the Alpha 2 sector of Greater Noida. The fire broke out in the ICU of the hospital located on the fourth floor.
Five persons were rescued from the ICU during the episode and no one suffered injuries. Further assessment for the cause of the fire and the damages accrued had been underway.
