Fire Breaks out at Jabalpur Medical College Hospital

Jabalpur: Panic erupted at Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College in Jabalpur after a fire broke out in the seminar hall of the Department of Mental Illness. The blaze, reportedly caused by a short circuit, ignited during class preparations, causing chaos among students and faculty.
According to the news reports, a small spark quickly escalated into a massive blaze, with flames becoming visible from outside the building within minutes. Medical students and professors who were present at the time responded swiftly, alerting the fire brigade without delay.

Fortunately, no patients or their families were present near the affected area at the time of the fire, averting what could have been a major tragedy.
Preliminary reports suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the blaze. Officials are currently conducting a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire
According to Free Press Journal, the situation has since been contained, and investigations are undergoing to find the exact cause of the blaze. Meanwhile, the college administration has assured to take safety measures to ensure that no such incident takes place in the future.
