Haryana: IPS officer allegedly creates ruckus at Panchkula Hospital, booked
Chandigarh: A Haryana IPS officer allegedly abused and threatened the hospital staff at the Haryana Civil Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula when he was intoxicated. Police have booked the officer.
The officer has been identified as Hemant Kalson. The incident took place on the night when Kalson visited the hospital to see a female patient admitted to the hospital at the de-addiction centre of the hospital. As per the nurse's complaint, he was intoxicated at the time and was carrying a bottle of liquor and a gutka packet.
When the nurse tried to stop him, he allegedly misbehaved and cursed at the nurse in an abusive way. Not only this but he also shouted at the security guard and other patients at the hospital. He later wanted to take away the woman out of the hospital.
