Jhajjar Civil Hospital introduces advanced laparoscopic surgery services

Jhajjar- In a significant development, advanced laparoscopic surgery services have been introduced at the Civil Hospital in Jhajjar under APCPL's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Civil Surgeon Dr Manju Kadian explained that laparoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery, is performed through small incisions, resulting in less pain for patients, minimal blood loss, a reduced risk of infection, and a faster recovery.
She said, “Residents of the district will no longer need to travel to bigger cities for modern surgical facilities. Expert doctors at the Civil Hospital, Jhajjar, are now providing better and affordable healthcare services using advanced medical technology,” according to The Tribune.
She has also urged people to undergo timely check-ups and treatment to derive the maximum benefit from healthcare services.
Additionally, CSR Nodal Officer Dr Deepak Sharma stated that CSR initiatives in the healthcare sector would prove to be immensely beneficial for the vulnerable and needy sections of society.
Meanwhile, expert Dr Ajay Dhankhar has informed that the laparoscopic technique will be utilised for various common and complex surgical procedures, including surgeries for the gallbladder, appendix, and hernia.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that regarding the long-pending Civil Lines Hospital project, Haryana's Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Dr Manish Bansal, said on Tuesday that the building plans for the new facility have been approved, and construction work is expected to begin soon.
Bansal stated that land for the hospital is available, and the building plans and layout have already been approved. Now that the process of transitioning from the previous plan to develop a 750-bed facility has been completed, the executing agency will be directed to commence construction work.
