No registration, Illegal private clinic sealed in Madhya Pradesh
Garoth: In a crackdown against illegal medical activities, the Madhya Pradesh team of police along with the state health and revenue department filed an FIR against the owner of an illegal private clinic near Vasundhara Hotel after conducting a raid.
Based on a tip-off, the health department conducted a raid and following this, the clinic was sealed on Friday after it was found that the clinic was operating illegally without a valid licence.
While investigating the clinic, the officials and the police team discovered that the clinic had no valid registration certificate which could verify the authenticity of the clinic, and the quack also failed to produce a legal medical degree to claim himself as a doctor during the raid, the FPJ reports.

In addition to this, the team also recovered large quantities of allopathic medicines from the clinic, and patients were being treated in violation of the law.
According to the police, the owner is a fraudster who treated patients coming to the clinic illegally. He treated patients under the instructions of a doctor who is a specialist surgeon and rendered services at Government Hospital, Garoth who used to treat patients at the clinic every Sunday.
The raid was conducted based on a tip-off regarding the illegal functioning of the clinic and the accused was caught red-handed in the presence of tehsildar Savita Rathore and BMO Dr Manish Dangarh. Acting on the application submitted by BMO Dangarh, the department filed an FIR against the fake doctor under section 24 of the MP Medical Council Act, 1956.
Hence, the state health department stated that it would intensify its actions against hospitals and clinics operating without permits and act tough against bogus doctors.
