Rajkot: PM Modi to inaugurate 200 bedded multi-speciality Hospital on May 28
Patel Seva Samaj, a charitable trust headed by former MLA and BJP leader Bharat Boghra decided to establish the hospital in the Rajkot district and the foundation stone for the hospital was laid in 2016.
Rajkot: The residents of the city will soon be able to get treatment at the first multi-speciality hospital KD Parvadiya multi-speciality Hospital in Jasdan taluka. The BJP has announced that the 200-bedded hospital will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28.
Patel Seva Samaj, a charitable trust headed by former MLA and BJP leader Bharat Boghra decided to establish the hospital in the Rajkot district and the foundation stone for the hospital was laid in 2016.
Rs 40 crore was invested to establish the hospital and Rs 7.51 crore was donated by the Kashiben Damji Parvadiya family. The hospital has been named after the family as they donated a huge amount to the making of the hospital. Due to the donation of the Kashiben family, the locals of the district will be able to get top-level health benefits and treatments from the hospital.

Recently, a meeting was held to discuss the inauguration ceremony at the Circuit House in Rajkot on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by high personnel individuals including MLAs, MPs, officials from nine districts and Rajkot district collector Arun Mahesh Babu. It was headed by Gujarat BJP president CR Paatil.
The fully equipped hospital will provide health services at affordable rates so that people from any financial background can get equal services. Additionally, patients who receive treatment under the Mukhyamantri Amrutam (MA) health insurance scheme of the state government as well as the Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) health insurance scheme of the central government will also receive the treatment free of charge.

The inauguration ceremony is set to have 3 lakh people from nine districts of Saurashtra including Rajkot, Morbi, Botad, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Junagadh. For the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic, PM will set foot at Saurashtra.TNIE report.
