Chennai: Tamil Nadu has announced a major expansion of healthcare coverage and infrastructure, with the annual insurance cover under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme being increased fivefold from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
