Delhi: As Hindu Rao Hospital doctors' strike enters its fifth day, various doctors' bodies including Indian Medical Association (IMA), Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) and Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) have came forward to support the protesting doctors.
The bodies have approached different authorities and demanded that the due salaries and Dearness Allowance (DA) should be released immediately.
The resident doctors of Hindu Rao hospital went on an indefinite hunger strike starting from 22nd November. As many as 300 resident doctors of Hindu Rao have been participating in the strike. The doctors first staged pen-down strike and subsequently went on an indefinite strike, boycotting OPD services.
