NBE warns of Spoofed Emails, SMS, Social media content
New Delhi: Noting that some unscrupulous agents/touts are making false and bogus claims to the candidates and using spoofed emails, SMS or contents on social media in the name of NBEMS for phishing, the National Board of Examinations (NBE), NBEMS has issued a warning for all the concerned medicos and various stakeholders.
Releasing a caution against such information in the name of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, the Natboard has hereby advised the candidates not to be allured or mislead by unscrupulous agents /touts making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any means by such spoofed emails/SMS or forged documents or social media.
Doing so, the examination body has clarified that NBEMS does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS.
It is reiterated that the official websites of NBEMS are https://natboard.edu.in and https://nbe.edu.in. Candidates are advised to refer for any information about NBEMS and Examinations conducted by NBEMS only through these website links.
Medical Dialogues had earlier notified all concerned that all NBEMS Notices issued from July 2020 onwards bear a QR code. Scanning the QR code will redirect the user to the said Notice on NBEMS website.
The Natboard has urged the candidates to be aware when getting any email/SMS/message on social media in the name of NBEMS and asked them to cross verify information received through SMS in name of NBEMS with a corresponding Email/NBEMS Website update.
In case candidates are approached by any unscrupulous agents/touts promising any such undue favour/ promising to provide question papers for NBEMS examinations through any spoofed emails/SMS or telephone call or forged documents or personally or through social media, the same may be reported to NBEMS through email at mail@natboard.edu.in or to the local police for further investigation, the NBE notice further stated.
