AIIMS Invites Applications for 60+ Pharmacist Vacancies Through CRE-5 Examination

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has commenced the application process for the Common Recruitment Examination-5 (CRE-5) for pharmacist posts across various AIIMS institutions and participating Central Government healthcare organizations. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official AIIMS examination portal.
According to the notification issued under Notice No. 93/2026, the recruitment drive provides a centralized platform for filling pharmacist vacancies in multiple premier medical institutions across the country. The online registration process began on June 13, 2026, and will remain open until July 3, 2026.
The recruitment pertains to pharmacist positions under the AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination-5 (CRE-5). The examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, with the tentative examination schedule fixed between July 25 and July 27, 2026.
As reported, approximately 62 to 64 pharmacist vacancies have been notified across participating institutions. The vacancies include positions at AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Awantipora, AIIMS Madurai, AIIMS Rajkot, AIIMS Guwahati, AIIMS Jodhpur, ABVIMS & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, CNCI Kolkata, and RHTC Najafgarh, among others.
Eligible candidates are required to complete the application process through the online portal and upload all prescribed documents, including photograph, signature, and other supporting certificates as per the recruitment guidelines. Candidates employed in Government, Semi-Government, Public Sector Undertakings, autonomous bodies, or government-funded institutions are also required to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) within the prescribed timeline.
The application fee has been fixed at Rs 3,000 for General and OBC candidates, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, and EWS categories are required to pay Rs 2,400. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) have been exempted from payment of the application fee. The fee can be paid through online modes including debit card, credit card, and net banking.
The recruitment forms part of the broader AIIMS CRE-5 drive, which aims to fill multiple Group B and Group C non-faculty positions across AIIMS institutions and participating Central Government organizations. Selection of candidates will be based on performance in the Computer-Based Test, while certain posts may also require a skill test as specified in the recruitment notification.
PW Live Pharma reports that candidates aspiring to secure pharmacist positions through AIIMS CRE-5 have been advised to complete the application process well before the closing date and ensure that all eligibility requirements and supporting documents are submitted correctly. The report further noted that the notification and application link are available on the official AIIMS examination portal.
