DoP Invites Applications Under PLI Scheme to produce Vitamin B1, Details

New Delhi: Promoting the Domestic Manufacturing of Critical Key Starting Materials (KSMs), Drug Intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in the Country, the Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) has invited application for the eligible product Vitamin B1, through the chemical synthesis route under Production of Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
This came in response to the decision made at the Empowered Committee (EC) meeting on June 3, 2012, to seek applications for the eligible product Vitamin B1 made by the chemical synthesis process.
"As per the decision taken, the 10% incentive rate shall be applicable as applicable for APIs produced through Chemical Synthesis.", the notice added.
Accordingly, applications are invited for the eligible product — Vitamin B-1

In addition to this, the notice stated that the eligible applicants may apply through online only (https://plibulkdrugs.ifciltd.com). Detailed guidelines of the Scheme and necessary corrigendum are available at https://pharmaceuticals.gov.inlschemes.
The notice further said that the last day to file an application is 30 days after the Notice was issued.
