New Delhi: The Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has invited applications from retired Central Government employees to render their services as Consultants (Non-Technical Grade-II). The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis, initially for one year, and can be extended further for a period not exceeding five years, depending on the department's requirements.

According to the official circular dated October 7, 2025, a total of two vacancies have been announced, one post for a retired Director/Deputy Secretary/Under Secretary with a legal background and one post for a retired Senior PPS/PPS. The job location for both posts will be Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi – 110001.

The eligibility criteria specify that the applicants must be officers retired from Central Government Departments or PSUs.
