Hetero Pharma Partners with Telangana Government for 300+ Pharma Jobs

Hyderabad: Hetero Pharma has announced a recruitment initiative in collaboration with the Telangana Department of Intermediate Education to hire more than 300 Intermediate (10+2) qualified candidates for its production and quality control divisions across its manufacturing facilities in the state.
The recruitment drive is being conducted under the Telangana Training and Placement Programme, which aims to improve employability among Intermediate students by connecting them with career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. The initiative follows the success of a recently organised mega job mela, during which around 70 candidates secured employment with Hetero Pharma.
Building on the positive response received during the job mela, the company has expanded its recruitment plans and will now recruit over 300 eligible candidates for various roles.
As part of the initiative, the selected candidates will undergo structured training programmes designed to equip them with the technical skills required for pharmaceutical manufacturing. The programme is expected to prepare candidates for immediate employment while offering opportunities for long-term career growth within the company.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr S. Venkata Jayapal Reddy, Vice-President (Human Resources), Hetero Pharma, said the company remains committed to supporting the Telangana government’s efforts to enhance youth employability. He added that the collaboration with the Department of Intermediate Education would help bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements while creating sustainable career opportunities for young professionals.
According to a recent media report in The Hindu, Director of Intermediate Education Abhilasha Abhinav welcomed the initiative and said the partnership would provide Intermediate graduates with industry-oriented training and meaningful employment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector. She noted that such collaborations play an important role in preparing students for professional careers while meeting the evolving workforce needs of the industry.
